Matthew Clarke

I have worked in the Financial Services industry since graduating from Birmingham University with a BA (Hons) in History in 1993, and have been an Independent Financial Advisor since 1999.  

Many of my clients have been with me throughout my career, and I have been able to steer their finances through first home purchases, expanding families, market changes, investments and retirement.  

During my career I have never advertised my business but instead, thanks to providing sound advice and a tailored personal service, my business has thrived on recommendations from satisfied customers.

I hold a CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and regularly undertake further career development opportunities in order to ensure that my knowledge remains current in all areas, thereby allowing me to provide up to date and cohesive advice to my clients.  My specialities include pensions, investments, mortgages and protection, and my client base is made up of a diverse variety of personal and professional customers. 

I am an avid cricket and rugby fan having been, along with my son, a season ticket holder at Leicester Tigers for many years.  When not watching sport, I enjoy spending time with my teenage son and daughter and my partner, socialising with friends, attending concerts and indulging my interest in history through reading books and watching documentaries.
